Justin Bieber appears to be getting closer to releasing new music. The “Justice” star is seen leaving the studio in Los Angeles, amid rumors that his seventh studio album will be released in 2023.
On Wednesday, November 30, the 28-year-old pop star was photographed walking alone to the studio after eating breakfast at Beverly Glen Deli by himself. He can be seen on the phone in photos published by the Daily Mail.
Justin dressed down for the outing in a black hoodie from his streetwear label Drew House and baggy denim jeans. The “That Should Be Me” singer accessorized with a white beanie and white Nike sneakers.
The sighting coincided with speculation that his upcoming studio album would be released next year. The new project will be released in March 2021, following his sixth studio album “Justice.”
The upcoming mixtape from the “Baby” singer is expected to be an R&B album with a hint of hip-hop. His song “Honest,” featuring Don Toliver, was released on April 29. It could be the first single from his upcoming album.
Justin teased a collaboration with John Mayer on his next album in an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden in May. “There’s a wicked guitar solo, so that was really cool for me,” he explained to the DJ.
“He’s someone I’ve looked up to for a long time,” admitted Justin, who canceled his “Justice World Tour” in September to focus on his health after being diagnosed with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome. “So we were at Henson Studios, and I was working on this song when he walked in. ‘Can I go in the booth?’ he asks. And I told him, ‘Yeah bro, go in.'”
Justin went on, “He laid a guitar solo, and it was mind-blowing to see him actually operate in his gift like that, to be able to see it firsthand because he is on another level. It’s completely insane.”
Justin went on to say that his album was still being worked on at the time. “”I don’t think there’s a date yet, but I do know we’re wrapping it up,” he said, teasing, “It’s almost done.” It sounds fantastic. I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve got a lot of cool features in the works, and it should be available soon.”
