More than 300 homeless women receive Thanksgiving meals from Meghan Markle
300 homeless ladies received a Thanksgiving supper thanks to Meghan Markle’s assistance. The Duchess of Sussex helped prepare a meal at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles while donning a face mask, gloves, a black baseball cap, and a green sweater.
The 41-year-visit old’s was revealed in a picture of her prepping a pumpkin for a pie that was posted on the Archewell Foundation website run by her and her husband Harry, Duke of Sussex. “Earlier this week, the Archewell Foundation Team assisted in preparing a Thanksgiving supper for more than 300 Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) residents in Los Angeles,” said the description of the picture.
For all women, including female veterans and their families, women with serious physical and mental health issues, and survivors of domestic violence, the DWC offers a wide range of assistance to lower obstacles and put an end to homelessness.
According to a source, the Sussexes will have their first Thanksgiving meal as a family in America in 2020, complete with fresh veggies from their California garden. The new image surfaced amid speculations that the pair would probably not spend their first Christmas away from the Queen, who passed away at the age of 96 on September 8 at her Balmoral estate, with the Royal Family at Sandringham.
The pair, who are claimed to still be “well loved” members of the family despite ceasing to serve as working royals, are believed to have accepted King Charles’ invitation, but according to a source close to the monarch, “They are unlikely to attend.”
