Rebecca Ferguson has a husband. The “Nothing’s Real But Love” singer – who found fame when she reached the final of “The X Factor” in 2010 – exchanged wedding vows with Jonny Hughes in a “fairytale” ceremony at London’s Dorchester Hotel on November 12, and she couldn’t be happier.

“I’m at a point in my life where I’m very content and happy, and getting married has put the final puzzle piece into place,” she said in the new issue of Britain’s HELLO! magazine.

The choice of venue was a “dream come true” for Rebecca, whose three children from previous relationships, Lillie, 18, Karl, 16, and eight-year-old Arabella, were among the guests.

She elaborated, “I used to take the Megabus from Liverpool to London when I was starting out. It was dirt cheap. We used to pass by Park Lane. It was motivating for me because I’d look at The Dorchester and think to myself, ‘One day I’ll get to stay there.’ Getting married there was a dream come true for me.”

The 36-year-old singer walked down the aisle in a champagne-colored crystal and bead-embellished gown that she had specifically chosen because she needed to top her elaborate stage outfits. The “It was so heavy. Because I’m on stage a lot, I’m used to wearing gowns so this needed to be a bit extra.”

Rebecca’s dress was a big hit with her new husband. According to the sports agent, “Rebecca looked beautiful, it was a lovely moment when we caught eyes as she came down the aisle. It was very touching to see Lillie tear up as Rebecca walked in. That made us all tear up.”

The couple have been together for five years and got engaged over the festive season last year.
